    ASRock shows new X99 mobos, mini-systems and a router

    asrock logo 2010Just in time for Intel's presentation of new Broadwell-E CPUs, like the tested Core i7-6950X, mainboard specialist Asrock has presented t two new LGA2011-3 boards at its booth in Taipei, the new "X99 Taichi" and "Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming". Based on specs, both X99 mobos are pretty much identical, apart from the colour schemes. While the X99 Taichi comes along in the colours black and white, the X99 Professional Gaming from the Fatal1ty series is of course black and red.

    Both models are not only prepared for Broadwell-E with socket LGA2011-3, but also offer eight DDR4 DIMM memory banks for up to 128 GB RAM. The CPU itself is...
