Every website and magazine is run by a team - this is also true for Hardwareluxx. On this page you will find all the people working on articles, guides and more:
||Dipl.-Ök. Dennis Bode (03.09.1976)
Main Editorial Office
Profession: General Manager Hardwareluxx Media GmbH
Forum Nickname: dbode
Supervised Department: CPU's, Mainboards, Memory Modules
Active Since: 12-2000
First Review: Abit SA6R - i815 board with Onboard Raid
Founder and CEO of Hardwareluxx - as soon as he got bored of university lectures, disaster took its course: Dennis put up a website where he reviewed the hardware he tested. Since his first review in late 2000 a lot has changed: the one man show turned into one of the Web's largest hardware sites, with many employees. Dennis now runs the site full time. In mid-2005, Hardwareluxx became a GmbH (limited liability company), with Dennis as manager. He is responsible for the main editorial office as well as all management tasks.
||Andreas Kaspar (03.09.1982)
Assistant Chief Editor
Forum Nickname: Andi [HWLUXX]
Supervised Department: Notebooks, Displays, Multimedia
Active Since: 04-2004
First Review: Casetek C1020
As editor for Hardwareluxx, Andreas supervises the departments of multimedia and displays monitors, so he mainly deals with hardware that is not directly part of a PC, but still is essential for using it. Nonetheless, he has a great affinity for hardware: after all, he takes care of our notebooks tests. In addition to writing reviews, Andreas handles the layout of our Hardwareluxx [printed] edition and coordinates our cooperation with the print shop. Besides his job at Hardwareluxx, he works for photo magazine d.pixx.

Jürgen takes care of translating german articles and reviews to english. He interrupted his interpreter studies in Heidelberg to join a friend in a small internet startup, and - barring a few interruptions - has been working ever since as a web designer and application developer, formalizing his education recently. As an avid gamer, his mouth starts watering everytime he translates the fine pieces of hardware reviewed at Hardwareluxx. In addition to translating at Hardwareluxx, he works as application developer for Oberdieck Online GmbH.

John W. Daly started reporting for German website Internetaktien.de, where he witnessed the Dotcom bubble burst and observed how the New Economy fell from grace. He left Internetaktien - now called IT Times - in 2004 and pursued his studies.
After a short stint writing for The Inquirer he joined Mike Magee's adventure in India and wrote for the IT Examiner. Afterwards, he went on to write for Techeye, before moving on to another pasture called Hardwareluxx. When not sticking his nose in books or glued to the keyboard, he enjoys dreaming of C'thulhu, hiking in the mountains and playing his guitar.
