NVIDIA has just released the GeForce driver version 310.70. This includes all changes and improvements to the old GeForce 310 generation
but doesn't include a WHQL certificate. NVIDIA lifts out a 38 percent performance increase in Far Cry 3, 26 percent more frames in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and 18 percent higher performance in Assassin's Creed III. In addition, TXAA antialiasing has been improved for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed III. For titles like Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and StarCraft II, NVIDIA promises an increase in performance of up to 16 percent.
This driver package also includes the PhysX software version 9.12.1031 with further improvements, and the HD Audio driver version 188.8.131.52. The SLI profiles for Far Cry 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been revised. The full release notes can be found on NVIDIA's homepage. The download is available on NVIDIA's driver site.
Although NVIDIA speaks of a certified driver, the GeForce 310.70 apparently contains no WHQL certificate as well.
