ga bace 3150 teaserAt At Computex this year we saw many companies offer barebones and HTPCs with a whole bunch of new equipment. One company expanding their already popular Mini-PC range is Gigabyte. The GB-BACE 3150 comes equipped with an Intel Celeron N1350 with Intel HD Graphics, offers a large amount of ports, supports DDR3L SODIMM and room for a 2.5” drive. Let’s find out what this 0.7 liter PC is capable of.

During Computex 2015 we saw ASUS, ECS and Gigabyte all announce new devices in the Barebone segment. While Gigabyte announced a faster and more economical model in its Broadwell based options, a smaller and not quite as powerful option was shown off making use of the much cheaper Braswell CPU. Today we’re looking at one of the latter options, the Gigabyte BACE-3150. Equipped with an Intel Celeron N3150 using Intel HD Graphics and a large amount of familiar connections including four USB 3.0, HDMI, Gigabit LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth and a microSD card reader, we’ll find out just what the BACE-3150 is capable of.

All of this is brought to you in a small 0.7 liter enclosure which can be hid behind a monitor in the office thanks to VESA mounting. Thanks to the slick piano black finish, you can also place it neatly in your living room.
